The Ontario RAT-3 Caper 8663 is a solid survival knife and an alternative to the original Rat-3 model. The leaf-shaped blade is made from 1075 carbon steel, which is strong and easy to sharpen. The extremely sustainable powder coating on the blade protects it from the increased corrosion sensitivity of the carbon steel.
